I've talked a lot on here lately about vintage fashion and I'm slowly starting to build up my collection, however the real staples of my wardrobe have been reproductions for quite a long time and I'm not at all ashamed to admit it. Aside from being more affordable and much easier to source, the other great thing about reproduction fashion is that it perfectly represents me - mixing the classic styles and silhouettes with a fresh and fun take on fabrics, trim and adornments. A bit of old, a bit of new and a whole lot of fun!

I have been asked a lot lately from both blog readers and friends about not only which brands I like to wear and lust after but also where I get them from. Given how competitive the market has become and how shipping costs have increased, there are a few local, national and international shops both physical and online who are my go to gals and guys when looking for a new outfit.

But lets start with which brands I love and make up my wardrobe...

Based in NSW these guys have a physical shop you can visit but they also have a webstore and offer HEAPS of great specials and discounts on their Facebook page. They also offer great prices and next day delivery so they're ideal for last minute purchases. Top of the list because I have bought HEAPS from these guys!

Tattooed Zombie Accessories

If you're on Brisbane's northside this should be your local go to store for mens and women's clothing, shoes, accessories, home wares, hair dye, cosmetics and, well EVERYTHING! Even though I'm a southsider it's TOTALLY worth the trip and I have also bought a bunch from these girls. Luckily if you're not a local they also have an online store.

Your One Stop Pin Up Shop

Currently based in Sydney there is also a shop opening up in Brisbane in just 2 weeks!! That's music to my ears but if you can't make it to either store the Facebook page has plenty of great deals on men and women's clothing, swimsuits and accessories. I can't wait to check out the new Brisbane store!

Punkabilly Doll s

This online seller stocks a great range of mens and womens clothing and accessories as well as a great range of punk and derby gear at really affordable prices. I have bought a few things from here and have been very happy. Also planning on buying plenty more!

Gasoline Queen

Based in Melbourne, this store is a favourite of mine whenever I'm down south and I spent up big there last time. HEAPS of mens and womens clothing as well as accessories and home wares. If you can't make it in store, they have the best of their range also available on Facebook.

Ruff N Ready

Also based in Melbourne, Ruff N Ready stocks a wide range of mens and womens clothing, accessories, bags, art, jewellery, bed, bath and home wares and caters for a number of individual styles. Great prices and available online with reasonable shipping and delivery times.

Faster Pussycat

Another Melbourne based store, Faster Pussycat offers everything from mens and womens clothing to accessories, magazines, shoes and even kids clothing. I've gotten some great pieces from this store before although their prices can sometimes be on the higher end of the scale.

Atomic Cherry

A really friendly online store that offers mens and womens clothing, accessories, kids gear and home wares with great prices, reasonable shipping rates, quick delivery and even allow you to pick up from Brisbane with cash on delivery.

Bluebird Retro Rags

A great range of men and womens clothing, shoes and accessories with the unique ability to add custom embroidery to make your reproduction more of a one-off. Quick and easy transactions with very fair prices and friendly service.

MisKonduct Klothing

Created BY a dame who loves to wear pretty dresses FOR dames who like to wear pretty dresses! Based in Newcastle you can shop in store if you're lucky enough to be local or shop online from anywhere else. Locals are also spoiled by the uniqiue 'My Dressing Parlour' option of booking an appointment only session to shop, try, be fitted and styled in a gorgeous private room.

So there you have it! All my favourite repro brands and where you can get them from. There is a lot of fun to be had with repro clothing and fellas, I'm sorry I've only covered brands for the ladies but check out those stockists too as most of them cater for you as well!

At the moment I'm all about high waisted shorts, capris and pants at the moment...so many colours and styles that I want! Perhaps I'll spoil myself a little in a few weeks for my birthday ;)
